Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, non-pathologizing approach to understanding ourselves. It is based on the idea that each of us contains different "parts" or aspects of our personality—such as the inner critic, caretaker, achiever, people-pleaser, or wounded child. These parts often develop in response to life experiences and, even when their strategies create difficulties, are typically trying to help us in some way.
IFS invites us to move away from self-judgment and toward curiosity, compassion, and understanding. By developing a relationship with our inner world, we can better understand our patterns, heal old wounds, and access what IFS calls the Self—the calm, connected, wise, and compassionate core that exists within each of us. Through this process, greater inner harmony, self-leadership, and freedom become possible.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called "tapping," is a mind-body practice that combines gentle tapping on specific acupressure points with mindful awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. EFT is designed to help regulate the nervous system, reduce emotional distress, and create space for new perspectives and experiences to emerge.
Many people find tapping helpful for working with stress, anxiety, self-criticism, difficult emotions, and limiting beliefs. By bringing compassionate attention to what we are experiencing while engaging the body, EFT can support greater emotional processing, self-acceptance, and resilience. Like many mindfulness-based practices, tapping invites us to meet our inner experience with curiosity and compassion rather than avoidance or judgment.

The Enneagram is a framework for understanding personality, motivation, and personal growth. Rather than focusing solely on behaviors, it explores the deeper beliefs, fears, desires, and patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and relate to others. At its best, the Enneagram helps us develop greater self-awareness, compassion, and freedom by illuminating both our strengths and the unconscious habits that may no longer serve us. It is not about putting ourselves into a box, but about understanding the box we may already be living in—and discovering how to step beyond it.

Attachment Theory explores how our earliest relationships influence the ways we connect with ourselves and others throughout life. Our experiences of safety, consistency, connection, and caregiving shape our expectations of relationships, our ability to trust, and how we respond to closeness, conflict, and vulnerability. Understanding attachment patterns can help us make sense of relational struggles while creating opportunities for healing, security, and more fulfilling connections.

Parenting is one of the most meaningful—and often most challenging—relationships we experience. Children thrive through connection, attunement, boundaries, and repair rather than perfection. Parenting support can help caregivers better understand child development, strengthen communication, navigate difficult behaviors, and respond to challenges with greater confidence and compassion. As we learn to support our children's growth, we often discover opportunities for our own healing and growth as well.

For many people, healing involves more than the mind and body—it also includes questions of meaning, purpose, connection, and the deeper dimensions of life. Spirituality can take many forms and may or may not be connected to a specific religious tradition. In my work, spirituality is approached with openness, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique path. For those who are interested, exploring spiritual beliefs and practices can offer additional resources for healing, resilience, self-understanding, and connection.

Across cultures and throughout history, sound has been used as a tool for healing, regulation, reflection, and spiritual practice. Music, chanting, mantra, devotional singing, breath, rhythm, and intentional listening can all influence the nervous system and support greater presence and connection. Sound-based practices may help cultivate calm, emotional expression, mindfulness, and a deeper sense of connection with ourselves and the world around us. While not a replacement for therapy, sound can be a meaningful complement to the healing process.
