Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (RMFTI)
As a fellow healing human, I strive to embody authenticity, compassion, integrity, balance, and humility in both my personal and professional life. These values guide how I relate to myself, my clients, and the world around me.
I approach life with a healthy balance of reverence and lightheartedness, and I bring that same spirit into the therapy room—honoring the depth of the human experience while making space for humor, humility, and our shared humanity.
I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of being seen, accepted, and supported within a safe therapeutic relationship. That experience continues to shape the way I show up as a therapist—with warmth, presence, playfulness, and a deep respect for each person's unique journey.
I view healing through the lens of ecology—the study of how living systems relate, adapt, and evolve over time.
Each of us carries an inner ecosystem made up of thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and different parts of self. At the same time, we exist within relational ecosystems—our families, partnerships, communities, and environments. These inner and outer worlds are deeply interconnected, continuously shaping one another.
In my work, I help clients develop greater awareness of these systems and cultivate more compassionate relationships within and around them. Rather than viewing symptoms as problems to eliminate, we come to understand them as meaningful adaptations and invitations to listen more deeply to what is asking for care and attention.
My approach is grounded in humanistic theory and systems therapy, informed by parts work (IFS), and enriched by somatic and mindfulness-based practices. I also draw from developmental psychology, attachment theory, the Enneagram, and spirituality to support a deeper understanding of the patterns that shape our lives and relationships.
Together, we explore identity, navigate life transitions, strengthen relationships, and cultivate greater meaning, purpose, and wellbeing. For those who are interested, I also welcome the exploration and integration of spiritual dimensions of experience.
I hold change as an ecological process—gradual, nonlinear, and deeply transformative. Like seasons reshaping landscapes or rivers slowly carving stone, meaningful change often unfolds through steady acts of awareness, compassion, intention, and relationship.
Together, we create space for experiences to be felt, understood, and integrated at a pace that supports safety, agency, and sustainable growth. Through this process, greater self-trust, self-compassion, connection, and alignment can emerge.
I work best with clients who are open to self-exploration and are willing to engage in the process of growth both within and beyond our sessions.
My therapeutic style ranges from gentle and nurturing to direct and challenging, depending on your needs and what feels most supportive. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship and value your input as we co-create our work together.
Come as you are. We'll explore the depths together, and we'll make room for humanity along the way. If my approach resonates with you, I would love to connect for a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
You don't have to know exactly where you're going.
There is a path, and we can walk it together.
